Ten years ago, I opened the doors to Beauty By Blush with nothing but a dream, a lot of determination, and honestly… no idea on how to run a business and a lot of fear. I truly didn’t think I would survive one year, let alone a whole decade.

The journey has been anything but easy. I’ve built this business while raising my children, survived a pandemic, navigated the heartbreak of divorce, grieved the loss of my beautiful mum, and faced the never-ending challenges of running a small business. There have been sacrifices, sleepless nights, moments of doubt, blood, sweat, and more tears than I could ever count.

But today, as I look back, I finally allow myself to feel proud. Proud that through every challenge, I kept going. Proud that I built something from nothing. Proud that I have created a space my children can look at and know their mum never gave up. This salon is more than a business — it’s a part of me, and a place filled with love, connection, and so many special memories.

To my incredible team — you are the heart of Blush. Your talent, kindness, and dedication make this place what it is, and I am so lucky to have you by my side.

To our amazing clients — thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your loyalty, trust, and support have been the reason we are still here ten years later. Many of you have been with me since the very beginning, watched my children grow, shared in my highs and lows, and have become like family. You have no idea how much that has meant to me.
